Enbridge Inc. and its wholly-owned utility, Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc., and FuelCell Energy Inc. today announced the opening of the world's first Direct Fuel Cell - Energy Recovery Generation power plant. HydroGen LLC Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
Fuel cell maker HydroGen LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of HydroGen Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after failing to find a buyer or obtain additional financing, according to court filings.

SFC Smart Fuel Cell Ranks Third in Prestigious Deloitte’s Fast 50 List
SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG, leading supplier of fuel cell products for mobile and off-grid power applications, placed third in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for 2008. The rankings in the annual list that honors outstanding business achievements by German technology companies are based on aggregate sales growth rates over the last five years, from 2003 to 2007. SFC achieved a growth of 4.605 percent over that period of time.
