Single- and double-sided photochemically-etched fuel
cell plates are available
in a wide variety of metals, including stainless steel,
pure titanium, and other non-corrosive
metals. Dimensions can be held to extremely high
tolerances without the stresses associated with typical machining methods, resulting in exceptionally smooth
surfaces and channels, even withmultiple channel depths on the same
plate. Available
in thicknesses from0.5mil to 100mil, thesemetal plates
can be stacked or layered.
The plates are lightweight and impact-resistant, resulting
in longer-lived fuel cells with lower shipping costs,
and also offer superior volumetric power density when compared with other materials. |
